JCW To Assist In Resurrection Of Local Church
Whilst we love getting the opportunity to supply our vast array of acoustic flooring products to projects up and down the country, it’s always particularly special to work on something locally.
We were therefore delighted when given confirmation that JCW had been selected to fit its JCW 80T and JCW 55T Acoustic Battens at The Church of All Souls, a redundant Anglican church in Bolton currently being renovated and transformed into a space age community centre.
Due to be completed in the autumn at a cost of £3.3m, the Grade II Listed building, which has been in existence since 1881 and left virtually derelict since 1986, will become a modern, multi-functional community, heritage and meeting venue for the town’s residents.
Work commenced on the Gothic structure in August 2013 in conjunction with The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT), a national charity protecting historic churches at risk, and it’s a privilege to have involvement in such an exciting development within the local area.
