JCW Acoustic Flooring successfully completed the supply and installation of the JCW 50C Acoustic Batten System and also the JCW Acoustic Deck 28 at Modra Student Accommodation, City Road, Cardiff. During the summer of 2017, JCW Acoustic Flooring were tasked with providing the acoustic flooring to the 139-bed student accommodation.
The site was previously a car park which was cleared to make way for the two blocks of student accommodation. One of which was 6 storeys and the other 3 storeys. The development which is known as “Livin” provides much needed student accommodation for students of Cardiff University. The building features profiled metal cladding and port-hole style windows which ensure that it cannot be missed.
Modra Student Accommodation, Cardiff was the first project that JCW Acoustic Flooring carried out for WRW. It signalled the start of a great working relationship that has since brought about many other successful projects.
