JCW Complete Travelodge Acoustic Flooring Installation

JCW Acoustic Flooring have successfully completed the installation of two acoustic flooring systems in Travelodge hotels.

The first acoustic flooring installation for Travelodge Bicester was carried out between December 2015 And January 2016. JCW Acoustic flooring were employed by Pinewood Structures Ltd to supply and install acoustic flooring to the 3^rd and 4^th floors of the project.

The 53 bed hotel is due to open later this year. The ground floor of the will contain office space, a Cherwell District Council Link Point, along with a restaurant and shops. The first floor would include the new Oxfordshire County Council Library and would also house the Bicester Historical Society. Further office space will be formed on the first and second floors

The second Travelodge installation was for the Filton hotel and was carried out in January and February 2016. JCW Acoustic Flooring were employed by WRW Ltd to supply & install acoustic flooring to the 1^st and 2^nd floor of the project. The 90 bed hotel is due to open later this year.

The JCW acoustic battens systems were installed on both timber frame projects (Robust Standard detail FFT-1). They proved to be the ideal solution as JCW Acoustic Batten Systems offer an exceptional reduction in impact sound and whilst maintaining a high compressive strength.
