What is screedboard?

Screedboard is a single acoustic layer treatment which is designed for soundproofing. The high-density board is made from recycled calcium sulphate sheets which offer an excellent airborne performance. The Cellecta Screedboard 28 also has an 8mm thick resilient layer which provides resistance against impact sound. The Cellecta Screedboard 28 conforms to Robust Detail E-FT-5 when installed within timber frame apartments.

As well as the screedboard 28, we also provide the Cellecta screedboard 20 which is used as an overlay board for underfloor heating. When compared to other floor finishes, it offers low thermal resistance and allows for heat recovery systems to ensure that it functions efficiently. The screedboard 20 is usually installed above thermal insulation, such as polyurethane or polystyrene.

When installed correctly within the correct buildup Cellecta Screedboard is an effective flooring treatment, which exceeds Part E of building regulations and offers a wide range of advantageous characteristics.
